In order to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of the MSc “Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Technologies” and in order to provide high quality educational and research work, the MSc has established an Advisory Board.
Utilizing the combined expertise of the following members, who come from academics with expertise in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, representatives of businesses and industry players in the sector, representatives of government agencies and regulatory authorities and executives of research centres and innovative startups, the following advisory committee was formed (alphabetically):
- Professor Sokratis Katsikas, Department of Information Security and Communication Technology, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, NTNU
- Nontas Paschalidis, CEO of Neurosft
- Konstantina Sintila, Cyber Security Products Leader, Greece/ Cyprus/Malta, CISCO.
- Christos Topaka, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A.
This advisory board will contribute in various ways to the strengthening of the MSc through:
- Providing guidance on the adaptation of the programme to the current needs of the market.
- By linking the MSc with industry, business and public administration.
- Evaluating and recommending adjustments to the curriculum, based on developments in the field of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
- Supporting research and educational activities of the MSc.
The above was approved in the meeting of the MSc Coordinating Committee on 27/02/2025, as confirmed by the decision of the Department Assembly on 14/03/2025
